Sorry it is not Friday quite yet. And well… we are going to keep this edition of Movie Mail brief because we have a party to get to! Tonight is MovieJawn’s Summer 2025 release party at Philly Film Society East…. will we see you there?

Join MovieJawn for our epic Summer 2025 zine release party and Philly Film Society screening of Nobuhiko Ôbayashi's HOUSE! Show up early to the Film Society East at 6:30pm to mix and mingle with MovieJawn staff and Girls Like Horror club members. We will be slinging our latest zine that features Cinematic Cats and Dramatic Dogs as well as other cinematic goodies. HOUSE screens at 7:30pm and will feature a special introduction from MJ, Staffer Tori Potenza. Afterwards follow us to Tattooed Mom for drinks, mingling, foods, and raffles! starting at 9pm.
